Moi vaan!
Oon Lauri, mutta joku saattaa tuntea mut paremmin pentisfuksina (: Opiskelen nyt toista vuotta fyssalla, mutta innostuin kiltahommista ja tapahtumista oikeestaan vasta fuksisyksyn loppupuolella, kun lähdin pikkujoulujen toiseksi puurospesialistiksi ja hain sisikseen. Vaikka päivä tuntuikin siinä hetkessä pitkältä, puuron parissa oli rehellisesti hauskinta mitä mulla oli hetkeen ollut! Lopulta syksy kuitenkin vaihtui kevääseen, ja sama kuvio alkoi toistumaan kerta toisensa jälkeen, kun sisishommat alkoivat kunnolla rullaamaan. Vaikka fuksina vähän epäröinkin, on ollu sanoinkuvaamattoman ihanaa tehdä sisiksen kanssa hommia tiiviissä, samanhenkisessä sekä motivoituneessa ryhmässä. Kevään edetessä sainkin huomata, kuinka ruoanlaiton ja muun tekemisen ohella tapahtumien suunnittelu oli odottamattoman hauskaa!
Tää kiinnostus huipentui, kun toimin toisena ruokavastaavana neljän fuksiryhmän kesken järjestetyillä pyjamasitseillä. Pyjamasitsien suunnittelu, budjetointi ja toteuttaminen on ollut innostavin ja antoisin homma mulle tähän mennessä, ja viimeistään silloin tajusin, kuinka mahtavaa ois tehdä sen tyylistä enemmän! Haenkin IE:ksi, koska ois upeeta vaikuttaa laajemmin siihen, millaisia tapahtumia Fyysikkokillassa järjestetään. Haluisin panostaa etenkin rennompiin teemakeskeisiin kerhotilasitseihin, sillä järjestämisen ohella ne on ollut musta myös osallistujana hauskimpia!
Sopisin IE:n rooliin hyvin, sillä tuun sujuvasti toimeen muiden kanssa, ja musta ois ihanaa olla vetämässä ja toimia osana tätä tiivistä ryhmää, joka tekee niitä samoja asioita mitä ite rakastan! Tykkään lisäks panostaa siihen mitä teen, minkä oon antanut myös näkyä niin skeittiössä kuin sen ulkopuolella. Myös innokkuus sekä halu oppia ovat kantaneet sisisvuoden aikana pitkälle, ja näitä piirteitä vaalisin myös IE:nä. Kuitenkin musta tärkeintä on se, että suhtaudun asioihin hymy huulilla, millä loisin hyvää ja rakentavaa ilmapiiriä niin raadin kuin sisiksen puolella. Haluaisinkin ennen kaikkea varmistaa, että uusilla sisisläisillä vois olla yhtä upea sisisvuosi kuin mulla oli!

I’m Lauri, sometimes better known as pentisfuksi (: I’m a second year physics student who really only got into guild activities later into my fuksi fall as I picked up the responsibility for making porridge at the guild’s annual pre-christmas party and applied for sisis. Although the day felt long, It must have been the most fun I’d had in a while! As the seasons changed, I started noticing the same pattern repeating as sisis responsibilities and opportunities took off. Although I was admittedly a bit unsure at first, it is hard to describe how wonderful it has been to work with sisis in a close-knit group of motivated and like-minded people.
However, as the spring progressed I noticed how in addition to cooking and other sisis-activies I loved and still do, taking part in the planning that goes into hosting events was surprisingly fun. This interest reached its maximum thus far when I served as one of the two food coordinators at pyjamasitsis held for four fuksi groups. This role of planning, budgeting and hosting the sitsis has been the most exciting and rewarding position for me thus far. Finally, I realized just how wonderful it would be to take up on more opportunities like this. It is also exactly, why I’m applying to be an IE, as it would be wonderful to have a broader influence on the types of events organized within the guild. As an IE, I would like to focus on more relaxed, theme-centered clubroom sitsis, because in addition to organizing them, they’ve also been the most fun for me as a participant!
I would be a good fit for the role of IE, because I get along well with others, and I would love to lead and be a part of the close-knit team driven by the same things im passionate about! I also like to put effort into everything I do, which I’ve made sure to show in skeittiö and beyond. In addition, both enthusiasm and the desire to learn have carried me far during my sisis year, and I would make sure to cherish these traits in the role of IE as well. However, I believe the most important thing is that I approach everything with a smile, which helps create a positive and constructive atmosphere in sisis and the board. Above all, I want to make sure that the new sisis has as amazing a year as I certainly did!
